The Women’s Endowment Fund is a permanent restricted endowment created by an anonymous gift of $250,000 in 1992. The mission of the WEF is to support the U.S. Women’s National Rowing Team by investing the original principal gift and generating income to be distributed for use to fund women’s high performance.
Generous donors have been contributing to this fund since its inception, growing the principal to over $600,000. The yearly disbursement provides budget relief for women’s national team travel and necessary training expenses.
